"Simply put Tom is the best wedding photographer in Portsmouth.
Before anything else, we wanted to have the best photos possible which Tom's portfolio made clear we would get. After we met Tom for some great pre-wedding chats, he really showed his experience in helping us with so much more than just the photographs.
On the day Tom was the perfect blend of personable and invisible which is an incredibly hard line to walk. The best quote I heard was from the bridesmaids who added Tom to their ranks as the honorary "5th bridesmaid" after all of the help he was in the morning.
Tom was by far the best possible choice and I really cannot recommend him highly enough. It was great to catch up with you after so many years have passed and we are really looking forward to seeing the rest of the photos after the sunset teaser you sent us. Thanks again."
Ben - Groom.
Ben got in contact shortly after his engagement to Hattie and they'd begun to plan their wedding day.
I'd been friends with Ben for many years ago, as we went to the same schools and played rugby together. As we left school we lost touch, so it was great to hear from him again and was more than happy to meet Hattie and shoot their wedding for them.
Ben & Hattie had a small, laid back wedding (approx 15 guests in the daytime) so wanted photographs to capture the occasion, with plenty of candid moments but without interfering with the dynamic of the small group.
They were married at the historic Square Tower in Old Portsmouth, before heading to the award-winning Restaurant 27 for lunch. From there they returned to the Square Tower where more guests joined them for the evening.
We were also blessed with the most incredible sunset that evening, and they were more than happy to pop outside in the evening for a few final portraits.
Here are a selection of images they received.....
