Warm & Relaxed Wedding Photography

Hi, I’m Tom.

I live by the sea in Portsmouth with my wife Rowena and our naughty but beloved whippet called Max.

I talk alot and sometimes pretty fast; my friends even joke my voicenotes are naturally at 1.5x speed, so don’t say I didn’t warn you!

The office is filled with photo books, gig posters and a collection of 90’s toys, all re-bought on eBay during the pandemic, trying to recapture the fond memories of my youth.

I find alot of comfort in nostalgia, so combined with my curious & creative nature, wedding photography is pretty much the dream.

Away from work, you’ll find me walking Max on the beach, cooking up a storm in my BBQ shack or planning my annual trip to Disneyworld; there’s just something about the magic of Florida that keeps me going back for more.

“On a day where my nerves were in absolute pieces,
Tom came in and totally put me at ease.
He was an absolute pleasure to have document our wedding day.”

A few more things to know about me:

  • Water plays a constant role in my life; whether it’s living by the sea or plunging in my cold water bath. I find them both hugely calming and essential for my mental wellbeing.

  • I met Row in the summer that I left school. We’ve been together over 20 years and got married in 2014 on our 10th anniversary as a couple.

  • I’m 100% a dog person and will fully advocate for you to bring your dog to your wedding day!

  • Music has always played a bigger role in my life than TV or Films.
From spending a decade as a gig photographer to co-hosting an Indie music radio show, my love for music runs deep and is often a bonding point for me and my couples.

  • To keep fit, I enjoy going for a run (well…more of a jog), I’ve even ran Brighton Marathon twice in the past, but somehowe managed to get slower each time.

  • I’ve been a fan of pro-wrestling since I was a teeanger and it’s still my guilty pleasure now. I actually trained & competed as a wrestler in my teens - but that’s definitely a story reserved for the bar!

“He looks just like the man on the side of a Pringles tube”.

Your experience is everything.

I want to be an open book with everyone I photograph in the hope that you’ll give as much of yourselves to me when I shoot your wedding.
Natural photographs only work when you feel totally at ease and hopefully by sharing some things about myself, you’re already feeling more at home.

Relatability is the key to a great experience and finding a photographer that you connect with on a personal level is a huge part of that.
Hopefully after looking at this page, you’re already seeing things we have in common and how easily I’ll fit right in wit your family & friends.

So, now that you know all about me, do you want to know how I apply all of this to actually photographing your day?
